Best Wildlife/Safari Park

Bear Country USA, eight miles south of Rapid City, South Dakota, is home to 20 species of North American mammals including what may be the “largest collection of privately owned black bear in the world.”  Visitors can drive through this 250-acre wildlife park to view bears, elk, reindeer, cougars, bobcats, and many other mammals in natural exhibits. Animals younger than one year and other small animals are exhibited in the “Babyland” area where guests can view them on foot.
